The Employee Status or Peg Board feature is supplied as standard with CaptureIT and is used to view employee absent/present status in real time. It is typically used for employees such as receptionists and line managers that would benefit from knowing who is on site but would not need access to the full CaptureIT system. Employee status is viewed in the same way as the CaptureIT program but does not allow any information to be edited.
The Peg Board allows you to create your own folders, which can contain any number of separate departments and individual employees. When a folder is clicked, the current status of all employees in the folder will be instantly displayed. This makes it incredibly easy to customise views for those employees that need visibility of staff spread across the whole company.
